Gluten Free Lunch suggestion – Thai Rice Noodles with Basil

This dish is admired by people of all ages and it can be a good choice for lunch.

Ingredient: Basil sauce, 6-10 ounce of rice noodles,  1 Tbsp. of lemon juice, 1/2 cup of basil, 2 Tbsp. of vegetable oil, 1/3 cup of dry salt-less cashews, 4 Tbsp. of  coconut / olive oil, a piece of red chili along with 1 Tbsp. of fish sauce or wheat-free soy sauce.

Direction: At first, soak the noodles in boiled water. Then, drain and wet using chilly water to prevent sticking. After that, prepare the Basil sauce. At next fry the noodles in a frying pan with oil. Then, put in 2 Tbsp. of basil sauce to the noodles and keep on frying until the mixture becomes soft. Afterward, remove the noodles from heat and next, put lime juice and fish sauce/wheat-free soy sauce in the noodles. Chili can be added if desired. Finally serve after garnishing with basil and cashews.

Gluten Free Lunch suggestion – Flour Tortillas

The texture of Flour Tortilla is bendable and foldable.  It can be used as sandwich wraps. 

Ingredient: 2 cups of gluten-free all-purpose flour mix, 1 teaspoon of olive oil, 1 ½ teaspoon of xanthan gum, 1 teaspoon of salt, 2 teaspoon of sugar, 1 cup of warm water.

Direction: At first, mix up the ingredients together. Then, split it into several parts. At next, put them in a large-sized bowl and wrap with saran. Afterwards, from this dough prepare rolls of tortilla upon a floured block using spatula. Then, place the rolls upon a griddle at 325 degrees. When bubbles form, flip the roll. Finally, serve them along with melted butter and little-bit salt.

Gluten Free Lunch suggestion – Pizza Crust

Pizza is a popular food for all aged people and gluten free pizza can be a perfect lunch item.

Ingredient: 1 Tbsp of yeast, 2 1/3 of cup gluten-free all purpose flour mix, 1 1/3 cup of milk, 2 tsp of xanthan gum, 2 tsp. of olive oil, 2 tsp. of cider vinegar, 1/3 cup of gluten free corn meal, 1 tsp. of sugar, 1 tsp of salt.

Direction: At first, let the oven to be heated at 400 degrees. Then, heat the milk slightly. At next mix yeast, sugar and lukewarm milk together in a bowl. Now take another bowl to mix flour, xanthum oil along with salt. In the mean time the yeast mixture will start foaming. At this step, add olive oil, apple cider along with vinegar to the yeast combination. Then put the yeast combination in the flour mixture and mix the assortment properly. Afterwards, place the dough upon a floured surface and add corn meal. Then roll out the dough until its thickness gains 1/8 inch width. Then, place the dough upon a baking sheet and bake it. When the dough exhibits golden brown color put sauce, cheese, toppings on the crust. At next, again bake the dough until the cheese melts.

Gluten Free Lunch suggestion – Sauce

Ingredient: ¼ tsp of oregano, 1 Tbsp of olive oil, ¼ tsp of dried basil, 1 can of tomato sauce, ¼ tsp of paprika, 1 tbsp of tomato paste, salt and pepper

Direction: At first, heat up the olive oil in a sauce pan. Next, add tomato sauce, tomato paste along with all spices together in the sauce pan. Then simmer for several minutes until the mixture is heated thoroughly. Then, add pepper if desired. Finally, serve it as pizza base.
